OK, but take my current pet example - Minerva. There's a post-DH interview where she states Minerva never found love. Then in Pottermore she comes up with 2 relationships for her. So we can't trust Pottermore to be about 'ghost plots' that were in the back of her head while she was writing the books. At least some of it is material she came up with recently. And considering she doesn't reread, we can't trust her to have taken care to make it work without contradicting what is in the books.
