Don't forget the kerfuffle a couple of years ago when JKR decried the "tyranny" of thinness as an ideal for women. She was quoted saying something like "Let my daughters be Hermiones, not Pansys." (Never mind that most of the characters who she codes as fat tend to be either magically or morally weak.)
