Hungarian Horntail
The epic dragon of epicness!
As a preface, the Hungarian Horntail is probably the most dangerous of all types of dragon. Naturally, it’s the only one worthy of being put in its place by famous Harry Potter during the Triwizard Tournament. Though, on the other hand- really? You sent a fourteen-year-old boy up against the most fearsome dragon in the world?
Just what makes it so dangerous? you may ask. Well, to start off with, it has bronze spikes on its tail. It also has one of the longest fire-breathing ranges of any dragon, and loves to eat humans- in addition to goats and sheep and such, of course.
The Horntail’s eggs have particularly hard shells, so the young have to club their way out with their tails. Gee, does that mean that if Krum had zapped this one in the eyes her eggs might have stood a chance? Food for thought....
