Word! Rowling's hypocrisy towards her protagonist's and antagonists' actions is totally *gross*. Harry commits Sectumsempra and forgets about it in a few minutes. Draco could have been killed by his actions! Even if his face was healed by Snape, how incredibly traumatic would that be? Now I know Draco has done awful things, that doesn't excuse Harry taking Sectumsempra so lightly! If a Slytherin had done the same thing, JKR would be banging on about it for ages.
And McGonagall saying that Harry's torture was gallant made me incredibly sick. Torture is evil, no matter who is doing it. I can't believe Rowling had the gall to write that when she's worked for Amnesty International in the past!
