Reading through this interview makes me get the impression that JKR is incredibly full of herself. She looks down on both Narnia and The Lord of the Rings and thinks that she is really progressive when in fact she is pretty much the opposite. And don't get me started on that "CS Lewis would be a Death Eater in her world" comment. As much as The Last Battle annoyed me, it still was a better book than most of hers.
Note to self as an author: don't get such an inflated ego that I make snooty comments about people more talented than I am.
