Alright, this magical magic creature is awesome. I give you...
Demiguise
MOM Classification: XXXX
A Demiguise is a large, herbivorous ape that can make itself invisible, and you may recall characters in Deathly Hallows talking about using its hair to make invisibility cloaks (though not Harry’s Super Special Awesome Cloak of Death!!).
Because it’s invisible, it’s difficult to find and catch, but it’s generally peaceful and covered in beautiful silver fur. Oh, and it’s native to the Far East, what a surprise (you will find that the coolest creatures in this book will almost certainly come from either the Far East or Africa).
Just a quick digression to the MOM classification system. Now, I don’t know what’s so dangerous about a large, invisible ape (especially one that’s not supposed to be particularly aggressive) that would warrant a rating of four whole X’s- possibly this is because it’s so difficult to capture (you will see a similar rating with the Phoenix later). Goes to show where wizarding priorities lie regarding animals.

You know what? I think the real way the rating system works is:
XXXX- Almost Always Cool
X-XX- Almost Always Lame
XXX and XXXXX- Coolness is on a case by case basis
