deathtocapslockI know Salazar Slytherin got his first name because JKR thought the name of a modernish Portuguese dictator made total sense for a medieval English wizard, but I wondered if we could invent a Watsonian explanation which was at least semi-plausible. So, here's my attempt, which I will only promise is more plausible than wizards naming their kids after political figures from the future.
