Anyway, yes, it's weird how Remus is shown as being this caring person, but with difficulties,a nd yet no one thinks "Hey, I Know! Let get Remus some new clothes for his birthday! OR I know! Let's hire someone to make some Wolfsbane for him, since Snape will never, ever do it!"
It's like Remus' suffering is simply accepted as the way of the world. Only Harry seems to notice the guy is going in decline!
