Thoughts on Rowling's recent confession about pairing Ron and Hermione?

So, apparently Rowling has recently gone on record claiming that she regrets pairing up Ron and Hermione. What do you guys think about that?

I guess for me this makes me even more set in my resolve never to accept an interpretation just because an author says so. Whether it's Rowling or some other author, I mean....

Yeah, kind of pulls the rug out from under anyone who is determined to claim that Rowling knew exactly what she was doing, doesn't it?

I don't think she knew what she was doing past book 3, or Harry would have grown intellectually. She had no clue.

Pretty much agree, especially from OotP on the books didn't appear to be edited at all.
