As kaskait has beat me to it, I'll just add on that it's not for "making fun" of the books, it's for discussing canon without the lock-step mentality of 99.9% of the fandom.
The books do contain plot holes, lapses in logic and more. The actions of the principals do tend to counteract every comment JKR has ever made in public about their motives and character.
