*Why is Neville looking hurt at Harry? Even if Harry had fed Malfoy the story he obviously didn’t do it to trick Neville. It’s not his fault Neville is afraid of being out of bed in the dark.
It's like Snape accusing Harry of deliberately not helping Neville in Potions class first day. I'll bet if Snape had caught them, he'd have deducted 51 points from Harry, just to be mean! The bastard!

Reading on, I see that Hermione is so upset that she stopped drawing attention to herself in class. All I can say is, "Go McGonagall!"
But all she needed to do to make it up was answer 10 questions before anyone else. Which means she probably earned more house points every week than Harry did for that Quidditch game.
