Another thought regarding Ginny: if she doesn't want her brothers poking their nose into her love life, she's really got no business poking her nose into theirs. Shut up, Ginny and leave Bill alone! Then maybe all your brothers will leave you alone and you can be sassy without interference.

See, you just don't understand feminism. As a girl it's Ginny's place to poke her nose into her brother's affairs, mock them and emasculate them, make a big show of her own love life AND go into tiresome rants about her independence when they say anything to her. The rule of thumb is: Ginny is always right.

Actually, I was thinking about what I really hate about Ginny's constant independence speeches and it's really that as a woman who's pretty much always had to fend for herself I have no patience with girls who stomp theif feet and tell off a crowd of guys who all worship her. Ginny can say anything to any of these guys and they will continue to adore her. As do all the men in the world. She's always the prettiest, always the most special. When she starts acting like she ever needs to stand on her own it just makes me want to smack her. It's like...Marie Antoinette pretending to be a peasant or something. Try life without a huge army of guys dying to defend your honor and see how annoying you find it when one of them tries.

It is far easier to forgive others for being wrong than for being right. But it's also quite hard to forgive people for suggesting that you don't deserve the promotion you got and that you're too stupid to see that you're being used.

Yeah, if it's far easier to forgive someone for being wrong than right, is that supposed to apply to Percy or Arthur? Yeah, Percy was wrong about Voldemort but the fight was about Percy being incompetent and Arthur being a self-indulgent embarassment. Percy's still right.

*I'd have to agree with Pacoman in that there's not much point to the clock now if it just points to "mortal peril". I can't see how that helps anyone. Surely they knew that already?

Apparently you can't be in Mortal Peril and Traveling at the same time, though, so if everybody would just stay on the move, they'd all be safe.

Oh Harry. You only can't think of anything else you want to be because you haven't thought about it at all. Someone said "Auror" and you were all "Dur, alrighty".

Seriously--I doubt Harry could even name another job, much less think about doing it.
