I’m afraid that now that I know all about wizard transporation to the QWC and how Portkeys work I’m afraid I’m even more puzzled as to why Faux!Moody didn’t just toss Harry a quill Portkey a few weeks into the term. Because Voldemort wanted to resurrect in Saint John's Night, and come back with a dead Potter in front of many international witnesses at the Triwizard Tournament. Voldemort's plans may be flimsy, but this one made sense to me.
