Someone above mentioned that Draco doesn't drop gratuitous insults to the ladies - and this is true. It's quite possible that he also automatically used an insult that'd burn the boys more than directly attacking the girls.
Yup, like I said above, he seems to be respectful of the ladies in his way. In his very strange way, what with the "Mudblood" comments.
Ah, Draco could so pwn Hermione by mentioning how he outflew everyone at try-outs, had they only been invented yet.
