*Do you think Hermione will ever address the actual complicated reality of the house elf situation ever in the series? Not that I really care, but I do wonder why I have to be subjected to this annoying subplot. Hermione could be a shrill, know-it-all activist teenager without this storyline.
Really, she should spend her time being a full time activist for Harry Potter, the persecuted Chosen One. Why doesn't she get her priorities straight?
*Harry would willingly split all the money in his vault with the Weasleys. He's just never offered because he's afraid they'll take it sure they'll never take it. Try suggesting that vault split with the twins, Harry. I guarantee they'll be more open to the idea than you think. Like you'd be making an Unbreakable Vow to that effect before you knew what hit you.
Heck, if Harry did that, maybe Molly would have called a halt to the LP gambit.
The funny thing is, Harry's perception of his money changes with each book. In one book he is worried he will clean out his account, in another he wants to give it away to the Weaseleys. Molly would just love that but Ron would die a million deaths of embarrassment. At least Ron has a bit of taste and pride. Don't worry Ron, you'll never have to change a bit of your lifestyle when you marry Molly Part Deux - Hermione Granger.
