How sad is it that when I read this title I think not of the book, but of theories about the meaning of Ginny’s vagina?
Haha. Well, this makes her the 3rd person to have one of the books named after her, aside from Sirius and Snape. OMG this proves she was Harry's ideal girl all along!
Note that the threat of being found out anyway seems to actually inspire Ginny to tell. Heh, Thats why she's Harry's Ideal Girl. :-)
Luckily Percy’s appearance frightens her off. That’s courage for you.
Yep, and this is supposedly the same Ginny who makes the Twins tremble with her Bat Bogey hex, who is so tough she stands up to Zach Smith and back answers Blaise Zabini? I think not.
It’s really embarrassing that all of the teachers have not figured out this thing is a basilisk. *nods* I get that this is a kids' book and all, but if Super-Genius!Dumbledore and I-love-vicious-creatures!Hagrid were outsmarted by a 13 y/o girl (that too, by accessing info that was in the damn school library), I have to wonder whether the teachers were making any effort at all to find the monster. And didn't Dumbledore have clues? IIRC he said it was very advanced Dark magic and no second year could have done it. So was he twiddling his thumbs throughout the school year? Knowing he had Dark wizard capable of murder in his school? (Oh, wait. My bad. I forgot he'd hired Snape. *g*)
