And Ron is back to judging everything based on whether it’s good or bad for Harry. Phew—guess he’s no longer in danger of being evil. The thing I really didn't get was WHY Ron and Harry got back together after the task. I mean I would have understood Ron just realized how fond he was of Harry when confronted with the very real deanger of Harry being eaten by that Horntail and consequently decided he didn't care if he cheated his way into the tournament. But that's not the way it is. Ron is supposed to have come around because the dragon was really frightening and Harry would have been crazy to get himself into that kind of danger. Um - Ron? Harry knew just as much about this tournament as you and your darling brothers did - the latter quite definitly tried to get into the tournament. If Harry had put his name into the goblet, the dragon might have been a nasty surprise for him NOW, but it wouldn't retroactively prevent him from joining in the first place! Logic... and that boy is supposed to be a gifted chess player - one of the worst characterization points JKR ever made in my opinion.
