Someone on FAP once pointed that in the movie, Hermione had even more nerve expecting Ron to invite her to the dance, after she'd finished pointing and laughing at him when he got those ugly dress robes.
Nice! Honestly, the movies should just say out loud that movie cliches apply and as the main girl Hermione is entitled to be asked by everyone to the ball.
I'm sure Harry's never even noticed every one of his dates has been one of the prettiest girls in the school. Bwahahaha!
