Agreed. McG may not be as ferocious as Snape, but she's no more supportive of less-than-talented students. Neville has to gain confidence on his own, then she'll start treating him as something other than a waste of space.

Before HBP, the only argument for SS/HG I could get behind was "They both have superior intellects". Only, not. Snape is actually gifted; Hermione is a swot with a photograpic memory. *sinks ship*
