It does sound like that! What's funny is what I found interesting was the way Draco wasn't the hero even in his own story. He was just wrong. Not strong enough to be an effective bully, not sadistic enough to be a murderer or a DE, not protected enough by his money to avoid suffering consequences of every stupid thing he does. The heroic story--if there was one--would be more about realizing just how wrong he was. I was always interested in the dark night of the soul idea for him. I thought we were getting that after HBP but...nope.
