It seemed like the Ravenclaw flaw in the book was that because they thought with their heads they saw things from other points of view and didn't get passionate enough about stuff. So of course it was a Ravenclaw that was disloyal to the DA and another Ravenclaw who defended her by trying to--heaven forfend--point out where she was coming from. Luna's okay because her brain works entirely for her heart, imagining the things she longs to be true.
Slytherin was barely even ambitious. They were only ambitious when it was paired with being lazy--they cheated, had old boys clubs, practiced nepotism. If you want somebody who has talent and works hard to get ahead, that's Gryffindor.
