Yeah, I definitely don't get that it's supposed to be hypocrisy. I mean, she was called on it regarding the use of Crucio and "He's never been a saint!" doesn't sound like she's congratulating the person on picking up on the hypocrisy angle. (She is usually pretty open about congratulating people on things like that. That sounded more like just being defensive of Harry getting to show he's a badass so we know how noble he is when he isn't Crucioing people.)
