I guess that’s what Ginny likes about Harry so much. That he’s the designated hero.
And Harry likes Ginny because she's the designated hero's designated girl. It's all very neat and clean and orderly they barely have to hold hands. Thanks, JKR!
I have very dim memories where I was interested in how Ginny was going to turn out, how she and Harry would relate to each other, etc. And I mean, genuinely interested and excited about the prospects. Little did I know it'd all be "designating" and very little "relating". (On the whole though? I'm kind of glad we never got to see any relating going on. I can imagine how it'd have gone and I don't think it'd have been pretty. *g*)
*The beautiful weather seemed to mock them. Only Harry can think something like this with a straight face—he has years of practice.
Kind of emo for a Gryffindor jock, don't you think? Somewhere there's a tube of glittery black eye-shadow with Harry's name all over it.
