Professor Trelawney's Prediction

*Get ready for the awesome, spectacular, stupendous, really ridiculous and rather useless prediction.

*Harry's Quidditch win high lasts a whole week. I wonder if the Gryffs persisted in carrying him around campus as well?

*Even the weather honored the chosen one by being wonderful.

*The Twins actually attempted to study for their O.W.L.s. I kind of wonder why they even bothered since they did nothing but make fun of them afterwards and didn't receive that many anyway. Well it was only a plot point anyway.

*Of course, Percy is being a greasy grind as usual and going crazy over his N.E.W.T.s. Being overly concerned with academics indicates pure Death Eater evil for sure.

*Hermione is just as crazed over studying. Harry and Ron puzzle over her triple booked schedule. But of course, they never outright ask her what she is doing. They just assume she wrote her schedule wrong. Obtuseness is required by the plot at this time.

*In fact Obtuseness is the favored characteristic of the Chosen One.

*Hedwig arrives at the common room window with a note from Hagrid. Buckbeak's appeal has been scheduled and it will be presided over by the executioner.

*Harry and Ron rail at the injustice of it all. But they will forget all about the horrible judicial system they are governed by right after this book.

*Hermione too will pay no mind to this star chamber ruled world. She would much rather harrass House Elves by throwing them unwanted clothing.

*Actually Ron is just upset that the MOM ignored all his legal research.

*Say goodbye to that brain Ron. This is the last book in which you will use it.

*Harry is sure that Lucius Malfoy is behind it all! How dare he be concerned about his injured son and inconvenience Hagrid's life.

*Exam Fun. I believe this is one of few years that Harry actually graced the final exams with his presence.

*Harry was too rough with the cheering charm and hit Ron too hard. Ron has to be pulled from the exam because he is laughing too crazily.

*Although this is supposed to be funny, I find it vaguely disturbing. In fact, this charm could be a good weapon for Moldiebread.

*Of course, Snape has to stand over Harry while he does his potion exam. That is the only reason why he failed! Snape got in his way! Its not as if he wasn't concentrating or didn't study enough.

*Harry aces the DADA exam and Hermione was scared by Boggart failure.

*Again, does anyone deal with real fears with the boggart? I would really like to see Lupin handle that.

*You know what I would see? *gasp* ---- *wheeze* "I see tough but compassionate red-haired mary sues and pink-haired weepy women. Walking around like regular characters. They don't see themselves as Sues. They only see what they want to see. They don't know they're Sues." *SCREAM!*

*The trio catches Fudge on his way to the appeal with the executioner.

*Ron protests about the injustice of it all. Hermione tells him,"think of your father". As if Arthur could be ruined any more at work. Really Hermione, if the flying car didn't get him sacked than a screechy Ron won't do it either.

*Diviniation exam! Trelawney has a vision in front of Harry. She has to, he is the chosen one. Oddly enough, her prediction isn't in rhyme. Is that like, a clue? Call Blue! Heck, Harry isn't going to investigate.

*"The Servant will rejoin the master!" screams Trelawney. Harry is just speechless. He allows Trelawney to push him out the door after it is all over.

*I suppose Trelawney finally earned her keep this year. That is the only reason why Dumpeydrawers keeps her around. He was hoping she would give a further sequel to the original prophecy. You know, the one he purposely put into play. Just for the giggles.

*Of course, Hagrid loses the appeal. Harry wants to go comfort Hagrid but alas, his invisibility cloak is still in the secret passage. Hermione runs to get it like a good, little girl.

*Nothing can stand in the way of compassionate Harry! He must go outside the protection of Hogwarts, even if a couple of psycho killers are after him.

*He wouldn't be happy if he wasn't running around and following doofus whims. That is why we like him so much!

*The kids make it to Hagrid's without mishap. Hagrid scolds them for show but true to his selfish nature, he doesn't tell them to go back to school, he asks them if they want tea. Hagid always thinking of the little people over himself.

*Hermione turns into a human hosepipe by squeezing out a few tears for Buckbeak. The narrator keeps mentioning the *sigh* silent and compassionate tears.

*Scabbers jumps out of a milk jug. Ron is joyous. But something is wrong. This rat keeps trying to run away.

*Hagrid pushes them out the door because the executioner has arrived. Who knows how the kids will get back to the castle and Hagrid isn't worrying.

*While Scabbers screams in Ron's hand, the Axe falls! Oh NO!

*screams with you* There's a frightening image if I ever saw one. Given the leaked teasers for DH w.r.t Ginny (did you *read* them? The Horror!) I'm sure I'd see the UK cover as my fandom Boggart.

LOL. Oh, JKR, it's okay to admit the Chosen one might be lazy on occasion. There's no need for these excuses. And in any case, I thought Harry despised Snape and wasn't afraid of him? It's usually Neville's style to mess up his potions out of nervousness.... if Neville had used that excuse, I would have bought it. Harry? Not so much.

Hmmmm, maybe that is something she enjoys. Then has a boy on the side. Like maybe, Snape or even the Dark Lord himself. When he isn't romancing all the female characters fandom would like him to be romancing. All in a very psycho killer stalkerish way of course. LOL
