I'm sorry to all for the delay in this summary project.

The Dementor's Kiss

* The title to this chapter would be an apt description for Ginny and her sunlit days with no birthday presents. She only exists to make plunger lips at Harry. Then again maybe she is more like Hermione's miraculous, bottomless bag. You need a love interest that doesn't get in the way? Get that bottomless bag in here.

* I'm not even going to compare and contrast Hermione's bottomless bag to Ginny's Chamber of Secrets.

* Harry states that he had never been part of a stranger group. Right, Harry, because you are just the picture of regular.

* Lupin and Ron are escorting Pettigrew. Why is an injured boy in charge of a homicidal criminal? I'll tell you, because the plot is in need of a screw-up and Ron must do his duty.

* Snape is drifting around in a comatose state. Sigh. The things he did for love. One-sided love. We can't ever forget that perfect Lily couldn't ever be infected by Slytherin cooties. Snape just wasn't bad boy enough like James.

* All you women know how we girls really are.

* Sirius is in charge of the comatose Snape and in possession of Snape's stolen wand. Which technically should be backfiring on him. Right? It was Harry who disarmed Snape. Correct?

* Oh who needs internal story logic when you have crime solving cats, bottomless bags and invisible cloaks.

* Harry sticks with Hermione. How else will he finish this series? Do all the work on his own? HA. Surely you JEST!

* Sirius is under the impression that he will be free now that Pettigrew is caught. Right, keep dreaming Black. Dumpeydrawers still needs you to be the scapegoat. You aren't going anywhere fast.

* You know, if Dopeydumb had taken over the WW, as everyone was hoping, none of this ridiculous crap would have happened. But obviously he was too noble to do the Dictator thang. He would much rather truss up a boy to be a sacrifice.

* Harry gets excited because Black invites Harry to live with him. No Black. That house already belongs to Ginny and her chamber of secrets. I'm sure Molly has already checking the property values in the area.

* Harry goes on with filler fantasies about life away from the Dursleys. Because real family means never having to say "I love you".

* They leave the whomping willow and Lo, the Full Moon! Lupin starts the change of life while chained to Pettigrew and Ron. Snape's lifeless body bangs into all three of them. I bet Snape did it all on purpose even if he was unconscious. Those Slytherins, always looking out for themselves even when they aren't.

* Black yells at Harry and Hermione to get away. Ron? Well, Ron can just stay where he is, chained to a homicidal maniac and a werewolf. He just isn't that important. Besides, he still needs to screw-up.

* Black attacks Lupin as an animagus. No, he didn't whisper words of comfort to the suffering Lupin. That was the work of a more compassionate mind in Cuaron. I bet Rowling hates him for making that gay uncle remark. He will NEVER live down the infamy.

* Pettigrew is the only level headed one around. But does he unchain himself from Ron? No, he attacks Crookshanks instead because Ron needs to screw-up.

* Harry does his one, real swell spell, Expelliarmus. I swear if I wasn't familiar with this series I would think this is the only thing Harry knows how to do. He uses it for everything. It must come from his power of love. Lupin's wand is pulled from Pettigrew's hand.

* But! Ron Screws-up. Pettigrew transforms back into Scabbers and slips from the chains that held him to Ron. Couldn't Ron grab the rat? Nope. Ron was too worried about homicidal maniacs and werewolves. Besides Pettigrew knocked him unconscious in the fray. Hmph. I bet Ron did it on purpose!

* Both Lupin and Black bound away from the scene to continue their fight.

* Harry and Hermione show their power of love by leaving an unconscious Ron in the middle of the forest and chase after Black. Heck, Ron deserves it for losing Pettigrew. Besides Sirius is waaaay more important even though Harry has only known him for a grand total of maybe 2 hours.

* Harry and Hermione discover Black being attacked by Dementors. All Harry can think about is what drag it will be if he can't leave the Dursleys afterall. Can't you feel the love tonight?

* Harry tries to do his ultra fabulous, super sophisticated Expecto Patronum but it doesn't work. But I doubt it has anything to do with the selfish thoughts Harry is having during a dangerous situation. He is just too full of love for that.

* Hermione tries as well. But I guess the desire to boss Ron around for the rest of his natural born life just doesn't hold that much joy for her. She collapses.

* Then there was a mouth. A big gaping Dementor mouth like a hole and it wanted to give him never ending sunlit days!

* As Harry faints, he sees a PLOT POINT running in silvery triumph to save his useless backside.

* Harry Potter, because useful heroes are totally cliche.

This was so worth the wait!
There's also the question of the full moon, rather convenient that Lupin transforms outside of the Shrieking Shack, eh? But then again, the question of time and chronology in the HP series is something I don't want to think too hard about because honestly, it makes my brain hurt too much. (Think of the age of the older Weasleys).
